ACTIVA |
ACTIVA is a slag and pozzolana cement activator. It is based on inorganic compounds, which speed up the partial dissolution of the glassy phase of the Blast Furnace slag or Fly ash in the mixing water to precipitate Calcium hydrates, Silico aluminates or hydrated aluminates. | By catalysing the speed of hardening of the blended cement (PSC or PPC), more substitution of OPC with 66BFS or fly ash becomes possible, while retaining the setting time and final strength of OPC, thereby cost reduction are possible. | ACTIVA can be introduced through the gypsum bay or through a separate hopper during cement production. Alternatively, ACTIVA can be directly added in an RMC or at sites during concrete production. |
