NATHPA JHAKRI HYDRO ELECTRICITY POWER PROJECTS.

Nathpa Jhakri Project is one of the biggest hydel projects being executed in Asia, which will generate 1500 MW of electricity. Since Hydro-Electricity Projects involve tunneling and the major problem being faced earlier was to stabilise and prevent freshly exposed rocks. particularly overhead after each blast from collapsing. Conventionally, ribs were used, which had to be back filled to give the necessary support for tunneling to progress. This process was time consuming and hampered the progress. SWC got actively involved to phase out the above by introducing Resin Capsules. Resin Capsules give immediate roof support which attains strength as required. SWC Resifix Resin Capsules are available in different dimensions, suiting the requirement of the users.
